A new card for Chris Renaud

I saw this auction and remembered the 14 large that he dropped on common PSA 9's. I wonder if he'll bite on this. It looks like a sweet card but you'd think for $5000, the seller could have spent the extra couple cents on a supersize picture. I guess you need to pinch pennies where ever you can.

  • I saw the card at the National last week. It is a very nice card, with beautiful centering. But the price.....

    True story:

I was bidding on the lot of 1/1 PSA 9 1971's in the Superior auction and dropped out well below my high bid mark because I figured Chris was bidding on them. They went cheap.

Looks like he could use it to upgrade the 8 in his set.

But, Chris has been pretty quiet lately. He might be on vacation or traveling for business. Haven't seen him post or snipe anything since at least a week before Nationals.

Wabbitt... its only 3K!!! A veritable bargain from the 5K that you mentioned. Trying to drive away competition???

Alan... the only thing scarier than your Care Bears are mimes!!!

  • i don't know if Chris will bite or not. he has been VERY absent from the 1970 auctions as well. there have been a lot of 1/1's going to a variety of players. and the others are going for short change.
