This is a pretty difficult set to complete in PSA 8 and above and his set is phenomenal. Mike helped me with several cards that I needed for my set.

I confess to be attracted most to late 60's Topps baseball issues. I was a Little Leaguer all during this time frame and bought gobs of baseball cards from 67' thru 71'. My surviving cards were 69's so that has always been my PSA passion but I have started to dabble in some of these other sets.
The 67' group is a great bunch of guys. You are active here and I just love to absorb your knowledge and enthusiasm for this set.
Meeting guys at the Nationals like EJGuru and Acowa and being present during one of the shows big highlights, the results of Eric's 67' pack opening and eventual on site grading adventure was quite exciting.
I picked up my first card, a nice 1967 PSA 8 #259 Don Dennis last night for $5.99! I plan to let the enthusiasm of this group set my tone for how far to take this.
I didnt mean to sidetrack this post; your effort Mike is monumental and best wishes. I suppose as one set is complete it takes one to begin to uphold the demand and the process of our great hobby.
Best wishes

Great job! Based upon the dups that I have purchased from you, the set has to be tremendous!!

outerbankyank on eBay!
I have bought some 67 cards from Mike and he is a pleasure to deal with. As a matter of fact, everyone whom I had met or talked to from the set has been great - most notably Eric

Used to working on HOF SS Baseballs--Now just '67 Sox Stickers and anything Boston related.
Strong work on a wonderful set

For the record, I'm about 10 cards shy of an all-8 or better '67 set, but I figured I had enough 9's to carry it into the top 4. When I can find the time, I'll post a history summation of where the cards came from (submissions, ebay, Superior, other). Suffice it say, I ended up with a bunch of that guy's cards at the top who quit last year. And did handsomely on the resale of dups, if I say so myself. If I can scratch together those last 10, I should sneak past acowa, a formidable foe, he. But Dan, Jim and eventually Steve and Larry need not fret or worry. I'm not an idiot, in the sense of pursuing them.
Most may or may not know, I actually began my graded quest in the 1963 arena. Now if anyone wants to be humbled beyond all recognition, submit a few 1963, colored-border cards. Fortunately, most of mine were submitted prior to the 2001 and later blood-letting called the PSA grading room. I still frequently crack out 7's from '63 and resubmit. I just sent 2 dozen of same and garnered five 8's. One was Dick Stigman #89, pop. about a negative six, I think. Anyway, I'm anxious to see Sayitaintsojoe's Stigman auction off tonight, to see how much my $7 crackout was really worth.
Basilone, yes, I'll be giving more attention to 1965 now. I just added a 1965 PSA 8,9 search to my ebay favorites email list. I'll also toy around with 1961, but with an eye toward a high end 7, but not 8 set. I just sent buckwheat an email announcing an interesting 1961 submission. If he's through laughing, maybe he'll email me back. I figured since he was '61 King, that meant all grades.
Again, thanks guys. It's been fun and it's not over yet. I've been lying low on the boards for good reason, but all self-induced. I'll wander back eventually.
2 more cards and the 61 set will be history. Congrats in advance on that one.
