Would anyone like to donate a lure?

I'm going to Canada tomorrow on a fly-in fishing trip. I've found Mercs are especially good for pike and walleye.

My preference are nice mint state, full band lures with lots of flash. I've found the '16 D works well for pike, while walleye prefer the 42/1 (with or without mint mark doesn't seem to matter). Both species have been known to stike at a nice '21 D too.

If you have either or all of these available I'll be happy to take them along.

I would send this sort of Flashy 37S to you but it is needed for Small Mouth Bass fishing tomorrow on the Columbia River here in Oregon. Sorry I do not have the others you have requested.

The nice thing about pike and walleye, they don't discriminate. So why sould I?

I just returned from a wild (we had to get off the lake for a couple of hours because of a sever electrical storm) and wide open day (I caught and released SIXTY fish from 3 lbs to 6 lbs each) of largemouth bass fishing at Barret Reservoir near San Diego -- the hot bait was 1937-D 3-leg Buffalo nickels graded MS64 through MS66 -- they sort of resembled creature baits!!!
