1906 Indian head penny in pocket change

After paying for gas at a local mini-mart, I glanced briefly through my change (as I always do) and was frozen in my tracks as I realized I had a 1906 indian head penny (fine) included in my change. I refuse to believe that it's been in continuous circulation so thanks to the child who "borrowed" change from his dad, or the collector who likes to put a few older coins into circulation. I got a real charge out of it!
