Fake? Bad scan? Holy-trimmed borders Batman!!!

'81 Topps Montana RC
The Green looks too grainy and kinda neon, unlike the actual ones but could simply be a bad scan. On the other hand, bad scan or not, those borders are trimmed to the max.

<< <i>Buy it, send it into GAI, and watch it get a gem mint...lol >>
i think you mean PRO. GAI is a respected company, theyd never grade that junk
Auction
It luckily only sold for like $26, but unfortunately to a low-feedback person who probably thought he got a real steal... FN- sellers

lmao... they'd grade it in a heartbeat... i've seen it far too many times before
some guy took a buncha 86/87 Fleer commons and trimmed the top and bottom borders off, and sent it in... got a 9.5 i think... thats respectful?

are you sure? ive never personally owned a GAI card, but all of the guys on the Registry forum are in general agreement that theyre a very accurate grader. ive never heard of an instance of them grading trimmed cards (i dont know whether they grade sheet-cut OPC hockey cards, BGS does- in my opinion those should be considered trimmed cards). if they have before, it was an honest mistake- they are a large respected grader, and grading trimmed cards would be more detrimental than anything

I've seen GAI graded cards that have fake autographs and fake "1/1" written in blue ink that they graded...I'm sure they would grade that too.
Collecting all bowman chrome rc's from 2002 and 2003
All I can say is if any company graded this, they suck
Canadian - LOL. Uh oh. Better watch out or that will open another whole can of worms. Heehee. What up bud? Long time, no see. Well, I guess I've never seen you before so it's been REALLY quite a long time.
In the words of the great SouthPark movie, "Blame Canada!!!"
