Title: Grader Accuracy

HRH,

What is the overall accuracy rating of the PCGS graders in terms of an individual grader v. a consensus grade? Does PCGS measure accurancy another way? If yes, how, and what is the accuracy rating?

    Greg...We haven't measured in a while, but my estimate that for vintage coins the really good individual graders match the final grade 75% to 80% of the time on vintage coins...much higher on moderns.

    Graders who can't match that often are asked to leave.
