1968 Topps Game

I have been collecting the 1911 T-205 Gold borders since the beginning of this year. They have brought me great joy and I really like my collection. I'm about 13% graded on the registry with another 5 or 6 cards that I have still raw. With most everything it has taken a long time to learn the little quirks about the set and what it takes to build up a nice collection of cards without blowing large chunks of money or being foolish in my choices. Though sometimes I feel more "alone" in my collecting as there is not much discussion of these T-2** cards on these boards.
Though it will remain my #1 focus for the near future, I was thinking about another challenge as the action has been pretty slow in T-205s lately. With a couple of my other raw Topps sets put on hold, I was considering the 1968 Topps Game set.
I already have built and still own this set in raw form. I completed it years ago and was contemplating a go in PSA form. I wonder what people on these boards could share about this set.
1)How does PSA grade these cards. Centering looks to be the major issue as the corners are already rounded. What else does PSA look at?
2)Browning. My set has several cards where the white color has browned a bit. Looking at raw examples on ebay I have found that most cards have the brown color. Does PSA take this into account? It doesn't bother me unless the browning is really strong.
3)Investment potential. Though I am one of the group of people that preach, 'enjoy what you collect,' I don't want to loose money on the collection. The design and great selection of HOF players makes it attractive to me, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of people that collect this one.
4)Price. What do these cards go for? Is SMR pretty close?
I would probably pick out the best cards from my set and send them in.
Just thought I would post this on a Sunday night for comments. I saw that LuxuryWines has a set on the registry and I hope he will chime in.
Thanks,
Michael
PS- I would also be open to suggestions for other small sets. I don't really want to do 1964 Topps Giants. I have a lot of these raw and just never really got into them.

Other suggestions would be early '70s Kellogg's sets, '70 Milton Bradley, '70 Rold Gold, or '69 Topps Deckle (I have a bunch of these, raw - but not in great condition).
JEB.
Here's my one and only '68 Topps Game card - Rod Carew:
Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Rose .... you can't go wrong with the price.
here are my first few 68 Game cards
and YES, Centering is the main problem with them
(as you can see from some of my grades)
I like the '68 game set. Small set, lots of stars, and I'm sure, easier to complete.
Go for it !!!
(JEB has a good thought on that Kellogg's idea too !!! Always use another K Klub member...)

CHEERS!!
1.) Centering - The centering on these cards is very difficult . I would estimate that 35-40% of the cards I have seen are off-center....
2.) Surface imperfections ... Some of the cards have these mysterious little tire track like marks across the front of the cards . Almost like little diamonds inside a rectangle.
3.) Edges - Yes they may have rounded corners but the edges nick very easily (automatic PSA 5 or 6) Look carefully....
As to pricing in my current judgement the PSA 8 common pricing should be about $20.00. A lot of the Star cards are priced to low in PSA 8 in the SMR particulary: Yaz and ROSE. In PSA 9 the prices are extremely low . Some recent PSA 9 Sales:
#31 Joe Torre PSA 9 - $133.50
#29 Rod CArew PSA 9 - $152.50
If anyone is interested in this set I have a slew of cards in PSA 8 and a few in PSA 7.
what ones do you have in psa 7?
