acetone question

I want to remove some PVC damage residue from a raw Morgan. It is not a high value coin by any stretch of the imagination. Do I use straight acetone or water it down a little? Do I just dip it in and pull it out and let it dry?

    use straight acetone. soak the coin for a few minutes and rinse with fresh acetone. resoak as needed. air dry. use outside if possible and NO SMOKING. also acetone is cheap so no need to skimp.
