I just spent a couple hours setting this page up and would appreciate any feedback you might have to offer. Please keep in mind that this is a first attempt.

Images may be too large file size wise, they are slow loading and I have dsl.... Also I could not find one Elvis or Buddy Holly picture anywhere.

Not bad for a couple of hours work. I would get rid of some of the smaller coin pics below the large pictures and increase the size of the font for the coins for sale. It is kind of hard to read.

As for the images, I think they look somewhat cluttered on the page, almost there for the sake of being there. Since some of the scaled down bullion is still in mylar, it shows weird colors in the picture. Likewise, some scaled down so much creates a grainy effect. It would make more sense (and the page load faster) if you were to choose only a few images that you really wanted, and just put those there, instead of placing them all on the page. The ones that you keep, use a nice resolution image so it is clear and sharp.

I`m with kieferscoins and LucyBop. The pics of the coins does make you pull away from what your reading. But the idea of the pictures are cool and pretty good for the first draft.

That's another good point... if you want to sell online, I'd suggest a private host and a domain name of your own.

Thanks guys (and girl), I went back to realign things a bit better. the tabs in the word program didn't copy across. I'll go back and try to make it less cluttered.

Not that I know anything about this sort of thing, but it looks pretty good to me. I have 28.8 dial up so I expected a slow load. The suggestions offered here would probably help. It's all good.

This is a trial run. the intent is to get a REAL host, and my own domain name in the future. I'm just giving this a trial run to get some ideas about what I want, and what other people think as well.

I just modified it to reduce the clutter, and posted a few scans of coins for sale from the list. I can't increase the font size on the list without going through to respace all the grades and prices (it's a word program), but I might go back and try it later.
