How about a Civil War set?

Have any of you ever given thought to assembling a civil war coinage set? The set could consist of business strike issues, proofs, gold or any of the aforementioned. It would obviously consist of an example from each year and mint during the civil war, 1861-1865. There are some tough coins in there to acquire. Was just wondering if anyone has given any thought to it and if PCGS would be willing to make a registry set out of it. I think it would make for a wonderful display.

I,ve heard of that idea for a set and am sure there are some that have built sets of Civil War coinage.
I just cant recall if theres a member here that boasts such a set or not.

I am investigating the idea of a set focusing on 1865 only. There are some very rare gold coins of that year that are interesting. 1861 also would include some very rare gold issues (1861-D $1 and $5 and 1861-O $20 immediately come to mind). If you are going to include gold, it would be a challenging, expensive, but very intersting set.
