I went to the bank today and found a small group I'd forgotten about in the safety deposit box. I'm offering them to forum members for $400 each which includes shipping.
Recent ebay sales of these same items have ranged from $410 to $560 with most of them going for over $450.
Feel free to PM me with any questions. Ugly comments should be posted for all to see.

I don't know the dates as they're unmarked. However, I tell all buyers to assume that they are 1884-CC's since that was the most common coin in the GSA hoard.
To me, these items are more valuable as neat GSA mementos than as a gamble. Why? Because the odds are they are a common date coin in common condition which is MS62 or less.
Those who buy them and hold them without opening them, I believe, do better over the long haul than those who gamble by opening the boxes. Just ask forum members that have bought them from me in the past and held them. They've all seen the value of these rise with time.
JMHO.
Thanks,

Also...they're an awful lot of fun to just own as a conversation piece.
