    While that would be a good representation of a classic example of a dipped & improperly rinsed coin with residue that had retoned it doesn't do much in the way of exhibiting OVER dipping.
    Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

    Gentlemen,
    I recently bought some silver coins that I suspect may have been dipped. Would you recommend that I pull them out of the 2X2's and rinse, or is it too late? If so, what should I rinse them in? If they had been dipped and there is lingering residue, how long before the coins would begin to exibit this toning?
