Will any grades get posted this week ?

Have a few invoices in at PSA,
but if you guys have basically shut down in preparation for The National,
I'll quit typing in the numbers till next week.

And what about set registry updates? No red rectangles next to the sets for a week? That's going to get boring. image

    JEB.
  • Also, the population report hasn't been updated since July 7. That's about the longest I can recall between updates (two weeks and counting). I know they were having a computer problem at one time. Perhaps that's still the case, so I'll be patient.

I did have an invoice of grades posted today -- so they are at least functioning in part.

Happy with the grades overall, too!

For the present time, I have changed my policy, given a forthcoming address change in less than a month (e.g. I was concerned that the address on my submission my be outdated if there were delays in the shipment). As promised elsewhere, I will update all to that status and some other items of interest for me in approximately three weeks.

My uneducated guess would be that the graders who specialize in vintage cards (if such graders exist), would be the ones going to the National. I doubt any sane person would pay $35 to have their prized 1988 Donruss set graded. So maybe the more modern cards will get graded at PSA this week, whereas the vintage invoices may be on hold.

The registry was updated last night. I added a new card to my set and it was up this morning. So at least we know one person is back at PSA HQ.
  • And a bunch of new sets were added from the set request list. I had two new sets added and received the e-mail notification yesterday.

  • Anything I might like. I have been known to buy a psa graded card from time to timeimage EVEN IF ITS NOT A REDSKIN !!!! LOL
  • I just got grades for an order and notification it shipped.
Why do I get the feeling, that some cards are worth money, while others are not?

Previously, "guaranteed" turnover times were qualified as not applying to weeks when there was a major show. Now I don't see that anywhere on the grading forms, so I expect my grades which are due Thursday to be posted promptly. If not, I expect free submissions.

Always looking for 1957 Topps BB in PSA 9!
  • Oh, I think I have one or two you'll like Art.
Is it OK with it says Redskins on it? How about PSA 10?

    I will email you later today . . .

Frank - They've never missed a deadline with me. I think you're safe, it would be like throwing money down the drain.
    But keep 'em honest!
