Are there any good coin shops in Denver?

In the area for a couple of days before heading up into the mountains. Just wondering if anyone has any referrals for coin shops to visit. Thank you for any help.

  • Rocky Mountain Coin. There are also several small pawn shops on that same street that have some decent coins in them.

Call ahead to be sure they're open if you go to the mint. They have a gift shop at the end of
the mint tour which used to be accessable from the street. They don't have much except the
current year issue, but it can be interesting and the tour is fun. There's a small display of old-
er mint coins at the beginning of the tour which includes some of the best moderns on display.

Call WAY ahead for the mint. I'm going to be in Denver next month and am going through the inviation process with my US Representative. They (or Senator) have to sponsor your invitation. I was told it takes 3 or 4 weeks to hear. So far, been 2 weeks for me and haven't heard anything.
