Remember the Coin that cured the Outbid Bummer Blues?

Well here is a Sorry Attempt to show you what the coin looks like. No wonder NorthEast Coin had such a Bad picture. This coin just does not want a Good Looking picture taken of it.....by me anyway. image The first picture is enhanced to show the color, somewhat. Its Light Blue somewhat like a color Chevy had on thier cars in 1971 I rhink it was. As you turn the coin it is every where on the obverse. The reverse is pretty plain but with Booming Luster and a decent strike. Actually the coin is better than I thought it would be. Pleased with the coin and the grade seems to be correct also. image

The second picture is the one that went into the Registry Set. Enhanced pictures just do not cut it there. OK...I hit the Auto Contrast on this picture. image

Nice coin Ken. I like the second photo better, but then again it looks mostly white in that shot.image

Hey Rick ....Thanks but I think it will be very short lived at number 5. My guess is that after the Baltimore Heritage Auction I will head south again. Here is a coin I think you would like. Its the 37S No Band MS67 coin I stumbled across. This one has something for everyone. No Bands for you....Color for me on the obverse.....White for the guys that like them like that on the reverse.

New picture added with a shot of a NGC dime that came today also.

    Hey Ken,

Nice photos! Hope your option 3 works out. My option 1 is outbid, but 2 is still holding so far. I'll bet you stay in the top 5 for a while! image

Nice pics of a beautiful coin.
That `37 S no band may lack the center bands but just look at the upper and lower bands.
    They look ultra-sharp. Wow!!!!

    Love that album toning too.

    Wonderful stuff

    Ken,

Nice 37-S. I really need to get up to speed with photos so I can share some of my coins. I just need to spend the time and figure it all out.

I have also been outbid on some coins, but as I am not attending the live auction I think I would only be bidding up the price on the coins I am interested in. There is a 23 NB in 67, pop 1 coin that Heritage has been trying to sell for 995 for a while that is up to 800 (probably their reserve) and I am sure it will go for close to their asking price. It is just a bit steep for me, but it would be nice to have another pop 1 coin.
