Two reasons.

Krause is gone, every former Bulls player hated Krause.

and

The Bulls offered him a management position after he retires, something that they should have offered both MJ and Pip.

he would have gotten a managment position regarless, this is only going to hurt his career and hes gonna go out on the bottom rather than the top

are there actually any bulls fans left? I mean you have your die hard fans, which im sure are still around, but all these people who are supposed "bulls fans" im sure were just into b/c of Jordan, and the championships

Everytime something great happens, everyone rushes out and buys that team or players stuff, and of course alot of people cash in. Im sure the Bulls fans want him back, but him as an individual player, if nothing happens with the bulls, if they have another season like they've been having, it will only hurt his career and image

It wont hurt his career. Guy has won 6 rings, you cannot argue with that kind of hardware.

And of course, everytime a team wins, you will have people jumping on bandwagons. But Pippen was so underrated as a Bull, and its glad to see him back.
