Proper forum etiquette.

Is it proper forum etiquette to "bump" your own message to the top of the forum or is that
considered a "no-no".
Just asking.

  • Just reply with a little "ttt" (stands for "to the top"?) and nobody will think anything of it.

Sometimes you have to if you want a response.

Its not a problem for most of us.

Or, you can select from the following thread title menu:

    1. This dealer sucks!
    2. PCGS sucks!
    3. Is this ethical?
    4. What do you think of NTC/ACG/PCI (take your pick) graded coins?
    5. eBay sucks!
    6. This eBay seller sucks!
    7. Anything with the word "sucks!" in it.

Thread titles guaranteed to die and be on page 10 within a few hours:

    1. This dealer rocks!
    2. PCGS rocks!
    3. This deal was very ethical.
    4. PCGS and NGC are good companies.
    5. eBay rocks!
    6. This seller rocks!
    7. Anything with the word "rocks!" in it.

Bump away, but there are a couple problems with it. If it's your own thread then
it's not much more likely to get a response the second time either. If you do it ex-
cessively then people are a little more likely to skip over another of your posts, too.

Everybody does it sometimes and for the main part no one cares.
