Greetings collectors,
Over the past week, we have seen collectors speak their minds towards the pricing of the SMR. We all want a guide that we can reference, an accurate one at that. This is the reason why I have taken on the task of forming a group of 20 people to review all sales from Ebay and other private sales for a more accurate reading. I will in turn report the changes to Joe Orlando. I would ask that any QUALIFIED collector would study four to five sets in the SMR. An example, King Kellogg could report to me any MAJOR changes from 1970-1983 on these sets (lowered or raised). I am not looking for a spread sheet off all 792 cards from 1972 Topps, but a list of 40-50 cards from the set that need to be altered. I would also like to know the item number or if it was a private sale. Because King Kellogg follows these sets everyday,(probably more like every hour) he could note any material change. If you truely want to see a better product guys, here is the chance. Please send me a private email at Shaneleo@aol.com.
Regards,
Shane Leonard

In about 4 to 6 weeks I have been recently informed that I will be receiving my first SMR magazine.
Best of luck in the research, folks!

You are way ahead of me here. I will let you and others know what needs to be done next week.

The only one's I feel qualified on are 1954 Topps BB, 1961 (Rob McBride is a much better choice)ToppsBB, 1967 ToppsBB, and 1964 Topps Hockey. I will be willing to do one set (your choice) and I feel that we should get a few grades per month from PSA for the effort.

Alan
Thanks for the plug. I really appreciate you thinking that this is something that would be right up my alley. However, I don't have nearly the collecting experience that many of the board members do. They'd be much more qualified to compile something that might have an impact on the SMR than I would.
Well anyway folks,I found something from Andale that could help anybody out with their extensive research of prices.

Hope this will help anyone out.The prices I noticed go further back than ebay's completed items.
Best of luck and anyone who I can help out please give me a shout,I'd be only able to assist but not take on a full responsibility,so if anybody needs an extra set of hands just let me know.
