modern Lincoln Proof collectors Red or no Red?

Hi, i noticed that PCGS has started to put "Red DCAM" on the proofs i have been getting graded.

now my question is this, is "Red DCAM" better than just "DCAM" ?? They seem to have the same coloring... is it something i need to look closer at?

what is the coin grading definition of a "Red" when you put it on a cent?

thanks for your time

I asked Rick Montgomery about this back in the old days. At that time, Rick said that only red cents could get the CAM or DCAM designation. So, saying red in addition was superfluous. Now I see they say red as well. Maybe that is to clarify, or maybe they have started to give the DCAM designation to BN or RB coins. That might be a good question for tomorrow's David Hall Q&A. In any event a modern Lincoln graded over 6 months or so ago with the CAM or DCAM is also considered red.

In any event a modern Lincoln graded over 6 months or so ago with the CAM or DCAM is also considered red (EVERY LINCOLN EVER GRADED WITH THE CAM OR DCAM DESIG. IS ALSO RED - OF COURSE I COULD BE WRONG image).
