Ususally EBAY becomes devoid of interesting cards a couple of weeks before the National. These two auctions caught my eye. Usually the Ben Wade card sells for $2500+ and the Woodling card pulls much less. Not last night. I thought the Wade card was a much nicer 8 as well.
This Woodling went for $2400+
This Wade went for under $2000. First time I can ever recall this happening recently.
Regards,
Alan

1950s Low Population commons in PSA 8 do extraordinarily well on Ebay, all things considered
There are a number of Dodgers and Yankees team set collectors from this era. More Yankees than Dodgers.
Finding a low population common of a 1950s set in PSA 8 of a Yankees or a Dodgers card can be extraordinarily difficult and pricey!

<Is it me, or does anyone else think it ludicrous that two high grade commons went for the approxomate price of an ExMt set??>
There's a lot more EX/MT sets out there than these two cards in high grade. I would bet a majority of investors would prefer to have the 2 high grade low pop cards.

I might have interest in that set. What kind of shape are cards 101 and 126 in?
