Mark Murphy & Global Authentication

In trying to get an update on Mark Murphy, I went to his website and saw this note (please forgive me if there was already a thread on this, I've been out of the collecting loop for a few weeks)
<<June 11, 2003
Because of the recent fire at our home/business and the need to focus full time on being a dealer again, I have resigned from the Global pack program as an authenticator. I also found this to be to too much of a conflict of interest, and felt it best to go back to focusing on what we do best, buying and selling. Please do not send any more orders to us to be authenticated, as we are not involved anymore.
Thank you,
Mark Murphy>>
I hope things are getting better for Mark. And I'm glad he is stepping back from Global. When he announced his affiliation with Global and that he would be grading AND selling packs, I was concerned about the conflict of interest it created. Of course, I was bashed (in only the nice way board members here do!) for my stance that I wouldn't be purchasing from Murphy anymore as long as he was grading and selling.
Has there been a thread on this, because I'd like to see what you all think of it.
