a new Bennie and "Merc" amongst others...

Traded in a bunch of low grade silver dimes and halves and some spare proof sets today, and picked up quite a few fillers for my albums. Came across 1941, 1944, and 1945 Winged liberty dimes which were solid MS-64s but I picked them for the obvious die clash mark on the reverse which matches the one on my '42 & '43. image I kind of like the idea of matching as many as possible with that mark...image

Picked up a very nice VF/EF 1922-d cent and some early Walkers (1916 & 1916-d in G/VG). But the best ones today for my money were the two I have scanned here, the 1940 Winged Liberty with some awesome toning and a 1950-D Frankie with some funky toning on the reverse, but some of the best bell lines I have seen in a while, and the price was right on both!!image All the Mercs and the Bennie were under $20......

  • Congrats on some nice finds, and, by the way, that toned mercury dime is really, really nice looking image
