For auction this week on eBay -- a rather wacky mix, all with the NEW! IMPROVED! eBay auction pages:
1923-S Monroe Half Dollar ICG MS64 $123.09
(ok, so that one's not too wacky -- rather nice coin, actually...)
2001-D Kentucky Quarter ANACS MS66 $0.38
(nice horsey... niiiiice horsey!)
2000-P Sacagawea Dollar Mint INITIAL STRIKE $4.81
Here's the story: as many here know, my wife used to work at the FRB. When the new dollar coins came out, all employees got one of these. Supposedly they are from the "Initial Strike" from the Philly Mint. Maybe some Sackie collector out there would want this little piece of esoterica.
1999-D Conn. Quarter ICG SAMPLE ex-FLAMINIO $1.25
A piece sure to become part of numismatic history: A sample slab with MY NAME on it. ICG gave these out when you signed on to their service. Perhaps there's a Bob fan/stalker out there who just needs this for their dossier? Who knows....
All auctions start at face value with no reserves and no wacky "cancel-at-the-last-minute" goofiness. Anyone known to be associated with Alan Hager or ah-collectibles MAY NOT BID.
Thanks for looking, and good luck!
