Hi,
I came back from the ANA Summer Seminar with a dollar of my own for sale, as well as three more dollars to be sold on consignment- they are first offered for sale to you (feel free to make an offer if you'd like). I'll take Paypal (no credit cards), checks, or money orders... Shipping is a flat $1 unless you buy enough to increase the weight, in which case it will go up by 23c per oz. Insurance is at cost.
All of the pictures are with soft, white bulbs and have not been touched up at all- what my camera took is what you see.
1880-0 MS61/MS62, Semi-PL SOLD
This is a pretty one. It is a little baggy and the grade hovers between MS61 and MS62 (Cameron Kiefer and I agreed on that grade). The mint state luster is beaming on the coin, and there is a good amount of frost on the devices, but probably just a little bit too little to warrant the PL designation. A pretty and lustrous coin, as well as a great date. CWT is $165 in MS62.
1885 MS63 Toned Morgan On Hold
Here's another pretty coin. The obverse is toned to a great orange and yellow, with the rims featuring some purple and blue. The reverse has blue all around the rims and a darker orange around the eagle. Between the orange and blue is some nice, deep purple. Through all of the toning, there is still luster, and the coin is a solid MS63.
1886-O AU58 Morgan Dollar SOLD
What a sad story here. This coin has all the merits of a crisp and clean MS64, except there is just the smallest rub present on the obverse (I can't find a reverse rub). The coin is considerably mark-free, incredibly lustrous, and features some light golden toning on some of the periphery on both sides. In MS64, the coin trends at $9000 (maybe I should send it to ACG )
1925-S AU55 (or MS? ) Peace Dollar SOLD
This coin has only a small rub (as I was told- frankly, I can't see it, so it very well may be MS) and great luster. A few obverse marks are present, but light. There are two hits on the eagle on the reverse. The coin has a small amount of gold rim toning, and is definitely a pleasing coin. AU50 trends is $30, AU58 is $40, MS62 $90, MS63 $150.
Thanks for looking and please do PM me with any questions or offers that you have.
