I have some with a depression in that area
The funny thing is that the steps follow the depression right into the hole.

I just took another look at mine, and they do have wavy steps (or a depression if you like).

Mine have a depression there, too, but the steps are still full.

Does anyone have any without this?

I have a few without the depression. I don't know if this will become another variety in the jeff series or not. Any thoughts on this??
