I'm Wondering: Has Anyone Here Crossed PCGS INTO PCI? SEGS? ICG? ANACS?

I left off NGC. PCGS coins do cross into NGC for collector reasons, but has anyone here crossed out of PCGS and into SEGS? How about PCI? ANACS? ICG? If so, why? And, what was the success rate?
I wonder if there are times when, for example ICG, would NOT cross at the same grade a PCGS coin? I'm also curious what they would think if PCGS coins show up at their doorstep with the cross request.

We ARE watching you.
(I would like to see the look at Accugrade if a stack of PCGS slabs turned up to
be crossed into their slabs!!)

Please explain? I'm assuming you mean a true Slab to slab crossover.
Side note: I used to crack out Franklins in PCGS 64's and get NGC-65s all day. Those days are over, but it was great while it lasted!

MadMonk,
That's what I meant. Due to both Registries I think many coins cross from each Service back and forth, certainly not equally, but at a much higher rate (PCGS to NGC) than any of the other Services.
Crossing from PCGS to NGC makes sense. I wanted to get into a Collector's head as to why he would cross from PCGS to one of the others.
There was a PCI coin (featured here in a Thread a little over a year ago and I can't recall the coin now) that had on the PCI insert something along the lines, "EX-PCGS Coin". It was interesting.
I have personally crossed a couple of PCGS coins that didn't have the variety on the insert into SEGS because I think SEGS is wonderful in describing the coin on the insert with a bit more detail. The coins remained in the same grade.
I also crossed just this last week a SEGS MS64 Standing Liberty 1917 quarter into NGC MS62FH after it had been currated (in the SEGS holder it has blotchy black spots of toning- unattractive. It is now pure white). I also crossed a PCGS PR66DCAM 1963 Franklin with dip residue toning into NGC (after curration) and it is PR68UltraCam- pure black and white.

I guess if your overloaded with the work you have, you don't need to extend the levels of varieties and crosses.

I have never tried. Your methods are interesting though. I'm a little challenged when it comes to the other services. I do remember when SEGS first opened thier doors. I was looking at mostly Franklins, and they were tough as hell on them. Now you have me curious on how they are currently grading.
back into lumps of coal. What great fun.In answer to your question
specifically......................................................................................WHY!!!!
After reading Braddicks excellent comments, I am in full agreement with him
as to reasons for crossing PCGS into other selected holders. However one should have a good and
sufficient reason and select a grading company of some measurable quality and reputation.

<< <i>Sure I do it all the time. My second hobby is turning diamonds back into lumps of coal. What great fun.In answer to your question specifically......................................................................................WHY!!!! >>
Bear- Diamonds back into lumps of coal would equate to a PCGS GEM MS65 coin turning into a wizzed AU50 PCI.
How does the coin change, for the worse, from holder to holder?

However, with reality of people buying plastic, one could suffer
economic hardship on sale of a coin in a holder considered
coming from a less esteemed grading service.

Braddick I've never crossed slab to slab but I've cracked DMPL CC Morgans out of ANACS slabs and PCGS always graded them the same numerically but downgraded them to PL. Had to send them back to ANACS & spend $9 to make them DMPL again so I could sell them @ a decent price. I wasn't trying to cherrypick or upgrade them by cracking them in the first place. It was just a casual thing where I had cracked a bunch of Morgans and made Capital Holder Sets then got tired of them and wanted to sell them off.
That tells me that for the average run of the mill DMPL the discerning ANACS borderline is a little more lower than PCGS's.
<< <i>Bob, I like your experiment, but you need a larger sample (more and different coins). >>
Who do you think I am, CoinWorld ? I'm just one guy with one coin -- now if everyone did what I'm doing with their favorite coin, we'd have a pretty big sample size of grading services comparison.
