1976 Lincoln Pennies-50 State's engraved

Hello. I was wondering if anyone know's anything about some coins I have. I have a set of 50 Lincoln pennies with a U.S. state engraved on each one. They are from 1976. My mom gave them to me, she doesn't remember where they came from. I was wondering if this is an actually set that is worth anything, or just something that was done as a souvenier. Ever heard of this?????

Just souvenirs -- numismatically not worth much, but kinda neat nonetheless.
I also have Lincoln:
taking a drink
smoking a cigar
with the Democratic donkey
with the Republican elephant
with the Liberty Bell
with the Girl Scout emblem
with the Boy Scout emblem
on a not genuine 1943 copper cent
on a not genuine 1944 steel cent
AND elongated cents with Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy
Some of these had a price of 35 cents written on the 2X2's they were in.
I actually found one of these in circulation last year (Texas). I don't think they have any value other than novelty.
Sorry.
I asked around were they came from and who stamped them. Still dont know.
Anyway, while at the coin shop I noticed they had a roll of these with I think all the states stamped
on these `76 Lincolns. Well, not caring if they were novilties or not, I bought that roll for $2.
I know, Thats about $1.50 too much but ,hey, I like em and think there kinda cool.
There were at least three of the sets of states stamped on the Lincolns and at least
one of these was used for multiple dates.

I`ve seen a few of those too but not for a long time. At least 20 years since I`ve seen those.
