Congrats Alan on your accomplishment....great set and tough to build. Any plans for the set since it is complete..or do you plan to continue to upgrade?
John
I feel privileged that I was able to make a small (very small !!!) contribution to your set.

Outstanding!!!! Vey nicely done.

As far as what's next... I am actually tinkering with a 1964 Topps Tall Boy Hockey set that really has my interest. The problem with the set is that almost every card is a low population card in PSA 8. The cards don't come up that often in high grade and when they do it's a slugfest.
Anyways, I am glad that I finished before this years National. I am truly looking forward to catching up with everyone. You guys are all class acts! (with the exception of Eric of couse...and I mean that as a compliment)
Regards,
Alan
Eric...I'm just kidding with you...you are indeed the legend (and a class act)!!! Let me know when you plan to get into AC so that we can hook up. If I am going to live vicariously through you...I need some good stories. If you haven't done anything exciting...I am giving you a whole month to make up something exciting!
Congratulations! I have no first hand experience with the 67's but as a regular board member have followed the trials and tribulations of its member supporters. Yours is truly an awesome set.
I have said many times before that I enjoy reading the banter and absorbing specific set related knowledge even if it's not a set I'm involved in. I have learned quite a bit about the 67' set over the last few years in part due to your contributions here on the boards.
This is just one of the many things the makes the set registry and it's corresponding board great.
Best of luck as you upgrade or strike out to that next big adventure.

late-May: Made 2 month anniversary with most recent girlfriend. (Key: Who knows?)
mid-June: Elected National chairperson of a committee for my professional association. (Key: Top-shelf adult refreshments)
Last weekend: Cape Cod collecting more research from 2 CCBL squads.
This weekend: Time with the parents, sister, and niece on a lake in nowhere, ME. The fireworks display does last all of 10 minutes, so no blinking is allowed.
The rest of July up until A.C.: Refresh mind on Blackjack "Book;" spend hours on my 6 deck simulation program; and keep getting outbid on '67's and '68's.
BTW--I still haven't got a clue where or if I'm sleeping Thursday night, so I will be looking fine for the luncheon Friday
Yes Alan, it's sure long strange trip. Welcome aboard!
