And once again..........

..........Eaglecoin manages to misunderstand the "auction" concept and would appear to end another string of listings with no bids. Will they ever learn and try, just try for once to list auctions starting at $1 and no reserve?? I've posted about this before and mixed in with the repsonses was one about the high quality of their wares. I ask you, if the coins are top quality, PQ if you will, why wouldn't a seller allow them to sell themselves??

Forgive me, but this seller is up at the top of my "They don't appear to have a clue" list. Tougher to get on that one than you think!!!

  • The coins that this fellow has up look like they are all buy it nows..............if you look at one of the items, and look were you would usually bid, there is no option to bid...............he's listing these this way because he can keep them up there for 30 days for like a nickel.....

not correct. they are one week or 10 day auctions. this seller has consistently listed coins at close to full retail for several years now. i have the same coins tracked in my files 8 months apart, unsold. they now list in the style which resembles the "eBay store" BIN with no opening bid which is ludicrous since they apparently never sell anything.

Well if you look at his feedback, the guy seems to be doing all right with the way he sells them. He seems to get a fair share of buyers. He is using the half.com storefront style. Not a true auction but ok, ebay has a lot of people that like to impulse buy. Nothing wrong with that imo.
