My Purple Cent

I bought this 2 years ago in a proof set. I'm happy to have it slabbed PR67RB now. The true color is a deep electric purple over about 95% of the obverse, and 90% of the reverse. It is very bright and reflective.

    I found this in a proof set at a small Narragensett RI coin shop. The seller did look at the coin before telling me $12 for the set.image I submitted it still sealed in the mint cello, figurinng that would increase my sales chances.

    I was at a shop recently, and saw a 1963 Washington that is bright orange.... may need to go pick that one up too!
