WHat do you think about ending auctions next Sunday?

Is the July 4th weekend a reason to avoid starting auctions tonite, ending next Sunday? Do many travel for the whole weekend?

IMO, I think as a seller, I would avoid auctions ending this coming Friday, Saturday and especially Sunday as many people will be out and about, and not thinking about auctions ending. I think several will not have access to the Internet and have other stuff on there mind. Every year we go to the Fireworks display and there is a tremendous turn out of people, also 4th ogf July weekend celebrations draw out a lot of folks. I think E-bay auction prices will suffer from missing the last minute bid's from those who hang out a drive up the price in the last few minutes.


As a buyer, might be a good time to scoop a few with sniping?

I believe ending Ebay auctions on Sunday evening to be a good thing. People that are away for the weekend usually arrive home by Sunday eve. The only bad thing is if you do a lot of business travel and you need to be in an early Monday morning meeting means travelling Sunday.

Tough call for next Sunday. Personally, I think it will be fine. All hte holiday hoopla will happen Fri. night and Saturday day and night. Monday will be business as usual. Sunday night should be ok.
