I just got these this morning. What do you think? Feel free to put a grade on them and I'll let you know what grades I bought them at later. Thanks Mike image

It's not easy to grade through photos, especially with gold because of how soft it is. The coins can turn either way depending on who grades them. The first piece shows noticeable wear on the cheek, nose and on Liberty's coronet, therefore I'd put it between a 55 and 58. The second piece would have a shot at 62 if it weren't for the deep marks on Liberty's face. The third piece looks like a borderline 60/61.

I bought these three coins in the B&M auction lot # 2309 described as MS62 each. I took them over to the ANACS grader and he said ms63, ms62+ and ms61. My opinion is 62+ with a 50/50 chance of 63 on the first one, ms62 on the second one, and the last one being semi-prooflike I say ms61. Thanks everyone! mike image

63 on that first one? No way! Who was there? Randy? Oh well, only you can tell for sure having the coin in front of you. image

Darktone -- attractive MS62 seems accurate -- I agree the guesses were a bit on the low side.

Thanks guy's, The 1896 was one that was cleaned but I thought it might get an ms60. The 11-D I was hoping for a 65image- I am starting to think they got the grade on the wrong coin as the 1924 had some black goo on it? mike image
