Just when you think you've seen it all...

This is some funny stuff. Anybody need a 1952 Topps "parcel" set?

Spelling or grammar skills are not needed to collect cards, or sell on ebay.

The copy is all caps thus being very unpleasant to read. The cards are not even in numerical order. I'll guess this seller could get at LEAST 10% more with a well written auction.image
This aint no party,... this aint no disco,.. this aint no fooling around.

    ok,
    he typed in all caps,
and can't really spell, but hell,
there are thousands of these types
    of bad auctions out there...

is this really any worse than others?

acowa, what did you want us to be laughing at?

Actually, the 1952 Topps Parcels are quite rare.
  • You guys are being too hard on him. Remember, once he ships the cards, they become PARCEL. I am sure that is what he meant.
Orioles cards from 1960 to today.

    Be good my brothers.

Well, the typos are certainly part and parcel of just such a listing.

Vargha....the man with a line for every occasion.

  • No, no, it's a French set. "Parcel", rhymes with Marcel (when spoken with your best French accent). He just didn't want to chase away bidders considering the current political incorrectness with France and all.

BTW, did you hear that the French built a new tank with four REVERSE gears?

And one forward gear... in case they're attacked from the rear.
  • I think you all have it wrong...The set used to belong to former NY Giants and current Dallas Cowboys coach Bill Parcells. He left off an "L"...*wink*
