    I'd say it would have to be the last of the GSA hoard liquidated in two sales (Feb & July) of 1980.

    Nearly one million Carson City dollars were distributed after the GSA was inundated with bid offers. Silver was all the rage at the time and everyone wanted a piece of the action....including many who hadn't collected Morgans before, or since.
