Graders who specialize

David- To continue on a previous theme. Why do you feel you need graders who can grade ALL series of US coins. Asked another way......WHY DON'T YOU hire graders who do specialize in a series...i.e. copper, silver, gold, moderns, commems, early, etc.??? It seems to me this would be a more efficient use of resources and the graders could/would be even more consisitent in my opinion.

Appreciate your thoughts. The reality is that if a grader is world class with silver, he's probably world class with nickel and gold too, etc. Also, the submitters mixed various types in their orders so it's impractical to have multiple sets of graders on orders.

We do have modern coin specialists who only grade modern coins.
