Hi. I have not seen these coins in person, nor do I know the seller. But with that said let me comment on color-toned coins: they often have "gaps" in the toning which might appear to be marks but in fact is just the untoned coin surface coming through. These untoned spots can actually help authenticate the originality of the toning, as artificially toned coins might have the "painted over" look. Keep in mind that the toning often results from contact with storage bags, and the fabric can't be expected to give a uniform coat of color.
If anyone has more info, more thoughts, please post... I like to learn about this stuff. cheers, alan mendelson
