I saw this auction on Ebay and noticed that the card has the same serial # as the SGC 84 listed in Mastro's latest auction. The price realized including premium from the Mastro auction was $7216.65. On ebay the final price realized was $6223. $1000 difference. I suppose with consignment fees the seller would have been better off on ebay but it is close.

The original seller & buyer would of been better off.....Mastro would not have.

From the Mastro page, it looks like the hammer price before fees was 6275. Only by adding the 15% buyer's premium does it get to 7216. IIRC, Mastro gets 10% from the seller. Based on that figure, the seller would have netted 5642.50 from the sale of this card. Mastro's total cut would have been 1668.50. A small but useful sum.
On eBay the final price was 6223. eBay's cut, including listing, FV, and featured item fees was 129.72. Seller netted 6093.28 on this sale.
For the difference, the buyer could have bought this card.
