    This has always been a tough '56 card. I had a PSA-8 on eBay last Dec that hit $1924.00 and I thought that was a strong price.
    So I guess, this soft market doesn't apply to everything...jay

    I,unfortunately,need this card and will eventually have to bite the bullet.It seems a shame to have to pay more for this card than a Mantle in the same grade.imageI guess that will be my hunt at the National.A nice raw example of this card.

    This is also one of four cards I need to upgrade to complete the set in psa 8 or better....but I will not pay(at least for now) $2,600.

    That card looks like a real beauty. There are 29 8's out there so it should come up for sale periodically. It really is frustrating though when you have to pay more for a common or minor star card than you would for the biggest superstar in the set. Another example of how the registry has forever changed the collecting world.
