Hey folks what do you think of this pic also how can I get my lighting better? I am using a casio qv-2900

its a great camera though....

Looks OK to me. I guess you can tweak the lighting a little, and maybe the focus or resolution, but that one gets the point across.

I have to get a camera. I've been a scanner man for too long, I reckon.

Each camera is a little different - but you might try using 2 GE Reveal lights and one Soft-white. It provides a wide spectrum that picks up both luster, AND toning.

Also - an ever-so-slight angle on toners seems to help. Nice job on the Morgan!

Tell me what would you grade that coin my lord..hehe, btw I love that vest you have I am gonna come visit you at the antique mall one of these days. Is it open on Sundays? I will be at some show this weekend at the savannah civic center.

Jacob- look me up sometime, if you're in town. The Antique Mall is open on Sundays, yes. While I'm not there most of the time (the Antique Mall staff does the selling for me), I am off work most Sundays, and could meet you there. I'm way behind on stocking up my booth- really need to get some new inventory in there!

Good set of pics. Try a little more light. Like 3 60 watt incandescent bulbs (remembering to set the white balance to incandescent).

That is correct ngc graded it an ms64

Another thing is (in photoshop) to adjust the levels and run the unsharp mask filter at 30%. It corrects for the slight blur of shooting through plastic.
