Interesting 2003 Proof set trend...

I was reading this weeks N. News yesterday...

The 2003 50-States 5-coin set has already blown away the sales numbers for the 2002 set - it only took a few weeks.

The 2003 10-Coin clad set sold over 900,000 in the first 10 or 11 days... More than three hundred thousand greater than the 2002 in its first two weeks...

Hmmmm...

This is similar to what happened in 1999, 2000 and 2001. The 1999 sets increased in prices, therefore many speculators ordered 2000 sets. The 2000 sets just sit there and collect dust while the 2001 sets were under ordered and increase quite a bit.

So logic indicates that the 2004 sets should be a good one.

    LanLord,

You just may be right about that!

The 2002s have been real sleepers, but are catching on.

The Unc mint sets are out next week.
