My... how we transition and change.

Chuckling at myself...

I was looking over my latest batch of coins, and realized that I began only looking at, and being interested in blast-white Kennedy Halves.

Now - I'm looking at a couple of Morgans, a raft of Jeffs, 3 (gasp) Franklins image and almost every one of them TONED!

Crimony... I've been INFECTED by toning, and other "icky" things. imageimage

image

I suppose that's normal - isn't it?

Don't try to resist DanC. Go to the Franklins (unless I'm bidding on them). image

    Wow JR,That `58 is nice.

With the right lighting and camera techniques you might be able to make it look DCAM
if the mirrors are there and you can blacken them out......Why dont we see these type
    pics anymore.

scratch that..the pic you have is a far better representation of the type pic I talked of.

dont change the setup you had for that shot.
    Its really fantastic lighting.

    Thanks Cam40.

Actually, those photos are not manipulated in any way. I caught a break when looking for settings to capture what the coin really looks like in person. I got lucky.
