While looking through some of the half Dimes...

I found an 1856 seated half dime that has an error it has the medal reverse. In other words, when the coin is flipped over the reverse is upside down. None of the others I have are like this..What would an error like this be worth? As you can see, it is not in the best of shape...Trust me. It REALLY is a medal reverse error...

Some might pay a little more for rotated die coins but it looks like the damage to the coin would limit it. Just my thoughts.

That would simply be a rotated die- they aren't too uncommon in the 19th century. Unfortunately, that coin might be too dinged up to carry a significant, if any, premium.

Yup, that is fairly common back then and with the damage.... not much premium. Hold on to it for you collection.
