Thanks for adding the 1907 proof set registry!

There is one good thing about all these different registry set catagories - sometimes you can get a jump on everybody else and get a #1 All Time Finest set for a while image

I will get more photos posted, right now I only have the dime. Someone once suggested original, matched sets should get extra points, I agree! image

We need 19th century proof set registry as well!!! Or at least a 6 coin (cent - dollar) type proof set registry.

Congrats on your all-time finest, Carl.image
  • PCGS said that they will keep slowly adding years. I am eagerly waiting for 1872
in both business strike and proof! But I am glad that people are having fun with
    the year sets.

  • I wonder how long it will take for someone else to register a 1907 proof set?

I've updated my set with old scans I found on my computer. I will get photos later. These scans don't show the blue toning at the rims very well. If you saw the coins in person you would agree they must have been together for a long time.

I hope they continue adding more earlier years! I can't wait to see more sets...

Gorgeous set Carl. The toning on the Barbers is awesome.

    Where 's the gold?

  • The gold wasn't with the set when I bought it. Actually that is a good thing because I couldn't have afforded the proof set with gold image

I did buy up each type of gold coin made in 1907, but went with more affordable MS coins. It was a good year for gold as it was both the last year for the Liberty coins as well as the first year for the Saint Gaudens stuff. Actually I never did have the High Relief Saint. I sold a few of them during the last run up in gold prices as a few were rather average.
