Hey Spooly, find out what's going on here!
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Concerning The Cherrypickers' Guide, Volume Two, to those of you who have said the authors are not working on it have not spoken with the authors. I've been busting my butt on it most of the year. It is very close to being ready to go to specialists for their comments and proofing. I am expecting, at this point, to have the book available in August.
I've made two post on this site within about the past 3 weeks, the last about 3 days ago, concerning the book and the timetable. I'm offering a 20% discount for pre-publication orders received by July 20th. If you're interested, visit the web site at www.cherrypickersguide.com. The site incorrectly notes June 30th as the ending date for the 20% discount, but until July 20, use the 20% discount option.
If anyone wants to know the reason for the delay with the book, just drop me a note and I'll gladly tell you.
If anyone wishes to contact me, please write to jtstanton@aol.com. I'm one of the easiest people to locate on the Internet. But please, before posting information that you don't know for sure is correct, just ask!
As for Stanton Books, I sold the business in September to Kyle Vick of Atlanta. I've tried to make that as well known as possible, and including at least two post on this forum. Since that time, I have heard of some complaints. Part of the sales agreement was the use of the name. But if anyone has any specific complaints, I would most certainly like to know about them. I likely can't do anything, but I really want to know, and for a very good reason. I need the information.
I'll look forward to hearing from any of you. Best wishes always.

All these posts are from June 10th. well before your posts.
I was a customer of yours when Stanton Books was still owned by you. I was very pleased with the service and especially the personal touch. I went to the site the other day and was going to order some Saflips, until I saw they wanted $8.00 to ship them. I went elsewhere.

I tried to make light of it and put it in the urban legend category.
