He won't even tell me where his flea market is !!!

But I remember a good piece of advise that i had not done before and that is to look at sources that most people wouldn't bother with.

Last year a friend at a local show pulled out a raw morgan in a 2 x 2 and asked my opionion of the grade, so we took the coin to a table with a good lamp and my friend gave me a loop and after i examined both sides i said ms 66 dmpl. He got ad instead of being happy and said it was a 67 dmpl. I asked him how much he paid for it and he said 19 dollars !!! He got it at a coin shop in Denver. I guess i should have asked him the name of that coin shop !!!
The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.
  • Hey Russ...if I buy you lunch, will you take me shopping? Well done!!!! image

  • I thought it would go higher but that was a nice price. Still only 3x what a plain jane 65 in a PCGS holder would bring. I think the coin would have busted 2000 in a Heritage Signature Auction but then you would have had to wait at least two months for the extra money and it would not have been a sure thing that it would have brought more. Congrats Russ. image

What makes you guys think I even made a profit? Maybe I lost money. Maybe the flea market dealer was a silver-tongued slickster who mesmerized me with his jive, and talked me in to paying way, way too much for the coin.

    Andy,

I outdid this one before I did this one. I kept that coin, though. image

BTW, did I mention that I LOVE this hobby? image
