Chicago (Rosemont) Coin Show

How is the Rosemont, Ill. show? I hear it is mostly Darkside, is this true? Is it worth going if you are looking for Morgan $$?

I go almost every year and I have only seen the usual amount of darkside stuff for a big show. I think this would be a great place to find nice morgans. mike image

There were lot's of Morgans last year! I was looking for high end proof moderns and there was nothing! Can't wait until this show!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

For those that drive there, you can park in the metra parking lot for $1.00-$1.50 instead of paying out the arse for the parking garage.

Are there any darkside dealers here on the threads that will have a table at the show? I've got a couple albums of British Half Pennies, British Pennies, and a Canadian Fifty Cent Album I want to sell.

Good tip on the Metra lot. But, the parking fee must be paid in all quarters!

The lot is on River Road just north of the Convention Center (about two blocks away).

"Is the chicago show close to the airport ? "

Yep, if you're flying in a cab will get you to the convention center in 10 minutes or less.

PS, whoever said that you HAVE to use all quarters for the Metra lot, I've folded and stuffed singles in those little slots and never had a problem.
