Nick Cascio -- Registry Man of the Year

I would like to nominate Nick Cascio as Registry Man of the Year for his amazing rise among roosie collectors and for the interest and good feelings he's brought to roosie collectors around the entire nation. Others have made very significant contributions in past years, but I can think of no person who has had the drive and influence demonstrated by Nick this year. Some people call him "possessed," some call him insanely focused, and Craig calls him worse things, but I call him the single most devoted (and successful) roosie collector I've ever had the pleasure to meet...Way to go wild man!!!! ......Enjoy your success......imageimage

PS Just this one time I am NOT joking!

    I third that motion.

He has put together one of the most insane Roosie sets that I have ever seen or thought that I would see, and I'm sure that its not complete.

    Your my heroimage

    Nick is #1.
    Craig
If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
  • I will also agree. Nick is the Roosie man.

Let us not forget some of the other GREAT Roosie guy's out there who also provide many contributions:
    (the ones I know anyway)

    Colorfulcoins (Craig Harries)
    Rainbowroosie (Bill Kelly)

Please, feel free to add others so deserving...

    Agreed too!

A Collectors Universe poster since 1997!
  • I'll second that too. Not only is he a great collector, and incredibly knowledgeable about Roosies, but he's always positive, and always there to help others with advice and encouragement.

And on a board where so many people specialize in tearing others down, his positive, helpful, and kind manner is refreshing as all heck.

Not to detract to Nick but Stooge and Rainbowroosie are two more who have gone out of their way to be helpful and encouraging. The three of them bend over backwards to do the right thing and you just don't find that often these days.

    Warm regards from Manila,
