The Excel Spreadsheet that I use contains the following column headings:
Date (i.e. 1909-S VDB)
Grade (i.e. PCGS MS65RB)
Purchase Price (i.e. $1305.00)
Serial Number (i.e. 5761422)
Seller (Bob's Discount Coin Outlet)
Address (i.e. 123 Main St., Denver, CO 12555)
Phone # (i.e. 1-800-CENT-MAN)
Purchase Date (i.e. January 5, 2001)
Notes (i.e. Formerly owned by Santa Clause)
I also have a column and a cell that calculates the Set Rating per PCGS's Set Registry formula so that when I add a coin to my worksheet, the rating is automaticly updated (on my spreadsheet, not the website).
As I am a collector Lincoln cents and Buffalo nickels, I have a worksheet for each of these series.
