Two guys get upgrades and the third guy gets the color. Always a pleasure to be involved with these deals that benefit all parties. image These are 18D's that are moving from one place to another or are new to the registry.

Nice to see some action in the Mercury crowd. The top coin looks very nice with that strike (the others are nice, too).

I was thinking we were all sleeping or something.image

  • Nice looking 18D's. I especially like the first one. image

I just bought a new 38S in MS66, but it won't show up in my registry set, as it is in a different slab. image But that is one less Merc I need to complete my set.

Hmmmm.........I'm beginning not to like this already. image The top one is the one I have let go to another person. image

    Ken
  • That sounds great. Everybody gets what they want.

Is the third one better struck? To my eye the I in Liberty look fuller on that coin...

    Carl:

Good eye. I think its pretty darn nice strike wise. You know me though the color is what really got me. Yep thats the one I get. Maybe I should put the reverses up. Naw..... that would make the opinions change. No one looks at reverses anyway. image

    Ken,

Did you take all the photos? If not, I'd like to see the bottom coin after you photograph it. It is hard enough to get a grade off a coin, but when multiple photos are done by different people, cameras, or set-up it makes it much harder.

The top photo is mine. The other two are swipped from other places. image I'm sure I could do better on that bottom photo. Whoa.....I hope that does not upset a major coin dealer. image

    Ken,

Your photos are consistant, and that is tough to do!

    Ken,

What are the grades on these coins?

Hi Jon. How are you ?

The grades on the dimes are MS65, MS64, MS65 in that order. No upgrade for me except the color but a little boost for the other guys. image

By the way. I FIXED my car today. A darn vibration has been giving me fits for a year and a half. The BOZO that put the trans in, me, had it slightly mis-alligned. I'm happier than a Lark with a Full Set of Mercs. image

    Hi Mercateers!

Well if Dennis gets the top one, and Ken gets the bottom one, I guess that makes the middle one mine! Thanks Dennis and Ken. It is nice to upgrade my AU58 to a MS64. And just to keep the deal going, my AU58 is going to stay in the registry also! I'll let the new owner chime in if he wants.

Hey Ken, I thought a Lark was a Chrysler product? For shame! ;-), :-,

    Noooooooo !!!!!!....imageimageimageimage

Wayne I have a thread on the coin board with a give away if a person could tell me who the participants were in this three way deal. Well it looks like someone will get the coin if they read this thread. Of course they must Dig about six pages to find the post. image

Okay who got the AU coin ? Let the Cat out of the bag. image

Wayne the Car was as Fleet as a Meadowlark ( Oregon State Bird ) and purred like a Kitten on the trip to the All Ford Show today. Yes I am still as Happy as a Lark. image
