A little help, please

Can someone please tell me the PCGS pop on an 1878 CC morgan, MS 65? Thanks in advance for your time!

I wish PCGS would make the Pop report public...just like their PRICE GUIDE!

That coin has a pretty strong Greysheet value for one with a pop that large. Must be a pretty popular issue?

It's the lure of the CC dollars. Always very popular.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • Russ-what is the GreySheet on them? And with so many in 65, why don't more people try for the upgrade?

    Kim,

    It's $940 bid, $1025 ask (5/30 sheet).

In MS66 it jumps to $3100/$3400.

  • Seems reasonable. I paid a bit less! I don't think I have an upgrade candidate, but I'm happy just the same. Thanks guys!
